Chino, California: Week 61
Frankie had his baptism on Saturday, woohoo! It was such an amazing experience! It was the first in-person baptism I've attended since I've been here, and we had just a little group of Frankie's family and some close ward members come. We did it at the Bishop's pool, which was pretty cold but it all worked out. There were some great talks given, and originally Frankie's uncle was going to baptize him, but he got Covid a few days before, so they asked me to baptize instead. I was a little nervous, but it all turned out well. Frankie is such a great kid! After his mom said the closing prayer, he jumped up and gave another closing prayer. I'm so happy for him and his family!
We also had zone conference this week, where the whole mission listened to President and Sister Hall, then got into our zones and practiced teaching.
Have a good week!
